Lady Colonels advance to State AAA tournament

The Copiah Academy Lady Colonels, 15-15, muscled their way through the MAIS AAA-Division II tournament at Hillcrest Christian last week, claiming a third place finish by virtue of their 43-39 consolation win over the host school on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Colonels face Presbyterian Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at tournament site Jackson Academy.  Read more in this week’s print edition of the Copiah County Courier.
