Copiah County Dog Show coming up April 13

The 5th Annual Copiah County Dog Show is coming to Chautauqua Park in Crystal Spring on Saturday, April 13th from 9am-3pm, hosted by Copiah Animal Shelter.  Let your dogs come “strut their stuff” as they compete in fun-filled categories: Best Pooch Smooch, Best Tail Waggin’, Most Mysterious Heritage, Best Biscuit Catcher, Best Dressed, Dog/Owner Look-a-Like, Fluffiest, and Best Bark.

Along with the Dog Show, come and enjoy a Crawfish Plate Lunch or choose from other tasty food items; have fun shopping at the craft booths; get some training tips by signing up for a 30 minute puppy class or a “puppy at heart” class, for those adult dogs holding onto those puppy behaviors; bring your cat or dog for their $5 rabies vaccination.

All Dog Show information and entry forms are on the Copiah Animal Shelter’s website: www.copiahanimalshelter.net and at All About Animals Vet Clinic in Crystal Springs or Cameron Animal Hospital in Hazlehurst. Onsite registration will begin at 9 a.m., with the competition beginning at noon.
