Tri-State Rodeo bucks around Gallman this weekend

Pro rodeo is coming back to Copiah County this weekend and promises more white-knuckle excitement.  The Tri-State Rodeo, sponsored by Copiah County 4-H and the Mississippi Cattleman’s Association, kicks off this Friday and Saturday night at Copiah County Fairgrounds arena at 8:00 each night with a calf scramble for the kids, winners of which will receive a new bicycle.
Each night also features competitive calf roping, bull riding, barrel racing and more.  Of course, rodeo clowns will help keep the action going with precision and hilarity.
Concessions will be available both nights.  Admission fees are $6 for age 7-13 and $8 for age 14 and up.  Kids six and under get in free.  All tickets are general admission.
