Gridiron Gus – Big one for the Bulldogs on Sat.

Mississippi State (2-2, 0-1) needs to have a good week of practice to get ready for the Tigers of L. S. U.(3-1, 0-1), who roll into town on Saturday night.  After Georgia outscored LSU last Saturday 44-41, the Tigers are hurtin’ and angry.

State hasn’t beaten the Tigers since 1999, and ol’ Gus is not very confident that that will change this weekend.  State had an open date last Saturday and surely has had ample time to fine-tune their offense, defense, special teams and situational coaching.

Bama, as expected, knock Ole Miss of its 3-0 perch by shutting the Rebels out 25-0 last Saturday.  UofM heads to Auburn this week to take on the 3-2, 0-1 Tigers, who were off last week.  Gus smells a Rebel victory looming.
