Tigers post huge Homecoming win

FURTHER INSTRUCTION – CSHS Head Coach Stephen Rice gives instructions to receiver Octavious Bingham in Friday night’s 40 – 37 Homecoming win over McLaurin. The win marked Rice’s first at the school. Bingham scored two touchdowns to aid the Tigers’ cause.

Crystal Springs’ first win under new Head Coach Stephen Rice was a crucial one for two reasons: it was Homecoming for the Tigers, and it was the last game before district play begins.

The 40 – 37 victory featured two teams with contrasting styles of offense. McLaurin put together long drives and kept the ball on the ground to score their touchdowns.

CSHS relied on big plays from their passing game to either score or set up scores.
