Court of Honor for Cartwright Feb. 23

The Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Tyler Cartwright will be held Sunday, Feb. 23, at 4 p.m. in the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church in Yazoo City.  Tyler is a Senior at Yazoo County High School and the son of Paul and Wendy Cartwright of Yazoo City.  He is also the grandson of Billie Jane Davis and the late Jack Davis of Hazlehurst.

Tyler’s journey in scouting began in First Grade as a Cub Scout through First United Methodist Church in Crystal Springs. That journey continued into Cub Scouting through First United Methodist Church in Yazoo City.  He progressed through BOBCAT, Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Weebelos.  He then joined Boy Scout Troop 75.
