Copiah County Animal Shelter receives ‘I Care’ car tag grant

The Copiah County Animal Shelter (CAS) has been awarded a $3,000 “I Care for Animals” car tag grant to financially assist in the spaying and neutering of their shelter animals.

CAS is a nonprofit, volunteer-based animal shelter, providing shelter and medical care to lost and abandoned animals until permanent placement can be arranged. The shelter is located on the grounds of All About Animals Veterinary Clinic, 27084 Highway 51 in Crystal Springs. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., or appointments may be made after hours for potential adopters to meet the animals.
