Cobras lose in first game of season
THROWING FOR A GAIN – Wesson #3 Tyler Christmas throws a completed pass in Friday night’s game. Unfortunately the Wesson Cobras lost 59-6 at Lawrence County. They will host Sumrall this Friday at 7 p.m. at Co-Lin.

The Cougars dominated the field and racked up the points for a 59-6 win over the Cobras. The Cobras’ offense had 8 turnovers and the defense couldn’t keep the Cougars out of the end zone. The Cobras will host the Sumrall Bobcats Friday, Aug. 29 in Wesson at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Game time starts at 7 p.m.
