The Wesson Cobras hosted the Wilkinson County Wildcats Friday night for the last game of the regular season. The Wildcats made the Cobras suffer a disappointing loss with a final score of 33-6. “Turnovers early in the game really put us in the hole,” said Cobra coach Ronald Greer. “We had penalties in crucial situations that kept drives going for Wilkinson County.” He continued, “We will have to regroup and get ready for a new season as we enter the playoffs and the #4 seed out of Region 7 3A. We will travel to Choctaw County next Friday night for the 1st round.”
