Southern Miss awards degrees at fall ceremonies

The University of Southern Mississippi held fall commencement exercises during ceremonies on its Hattiesburg campus Friday, Dec. 12.

Southern Miss President Rodney Bennett conferred undergraduate, graduate and specialists’ degrees at the two ceremonies, held at Reed Green Coliseum. Dr. Andrew Wiest, professor of history at Southern Miss and founder of its Dale Center for the Study of War and Society, served as commencement speaker.
