Green stays true to MSU, signs with the Bulldogs on #NSD

GREEN HEAD TO MSU – Wesson senior tight end Ferrod Green made good on his commitment to the Mississippi State Bulldogs when he signed a Letter of Intent to attend MSU and play for head coach Dan Mullen last Wednesday. Seated from left are Sabria Green (sister), Flana Green (mother), Farrod, and Calvin Green (father). Standing from left are Wesson head coach Ronald Greer, Travis Armstrong (uncle), Denise Armstrong (aunt) and brother Corey Williams.

Amidst the all the paparazzi from the Jackson news stations and several print media representatives in the Wesson library last Wednesday stood Farrod Green, all 6 feet 5 inches and 220 pounds of him.  He was dressed to a ‘T’ with a light colored suit, matching bow tie and shoes shined to a mirror finish.  He worked the room like a cool veteran, giving the media types a line or two to use in their stories about national signing day and thanking his coaches and family for their support.
