Miss Mississippi at Providence Baptist Mar. 7

Girls Rural will host Miss Mississippi 2014, Jasmine Murray, on Saturday, March 7, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church.  Jasmine will speak on her platform, “13 Going on 30: Teaching Young Girls to Embrace Their Age.”

 Jasmine Murray is a well-rounded woman who has already accomplished great things in her life.  A graduate of the Mississippi School of the Arts, the Columbus native is a sophomore at Mississippi State University, where she’s been on the Dean’s list and President’s list, and she’s been the recipient of numerous scholarships and academic awards.  She is working towards her BS in Broadcasting.
