Farmers market vendors invited to spaghetti dinner, info session

Interested in growing produce for our local Farmers Market?  Recruiting new vendors and processors was the focus of the February 24 meeting of the Copiah County Farmers Market Board.
The Board is inviting interested persons to an information session at Camp Wesley Pines in Gallman on Tuesday, March 24 at 6 p.m.  Spaghetti dinner will be served  at no charge.

Camp Wesley Pines is located off I-55 Exit 56.  Turn east onto West Gallman Road, then turn north on Cleveland Street across from Gallman UMC.  Follow signs on to the camp, which is about 2 miles from I-55.

Don’t miss this chance to get the most current information.  The local market will open on May 1, and every Saturday thereafter from 8 AM -noon, and will be located on the Hwy 28 strip across from WalMart just East of Waffle House.  Contact David Yowell, Farmers Market Manager, at 769-232-2657 for further information.
