Tigers lose in final 8
JACKSON- The Crystal Springs Tigers traveled north last Wednesday afternoon to face the Humphreys County Cowboys at Jackson State University in the state 3A Championship tournament.

The Crystal Springs Tigers made it the final 8 in the 3A State Championship round but were disappointed with a 46-51 loss against the Humphreys County Cowboys. The Tigers trailed the Cowboys most of the game but rallied in the last quarter to close the gap to a 1 point deficit.
Top Tiger scorer was Miguel Powell who scored 11 points, had 1 rebound, 1 assist and 2 steals. Zyn Baylis and Jeriko Morris both had 8 points each. Baylis had 3 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 assist and Morris had 2 rebounds and 2 steals. The Tigers were 10/19 in free throws.
