Copiah’s own ‘Jak’ to be introduced as ‘Bully XXI’ Saturday at MSU

COPIAH’S OWN – MSU’s new live bulldog mascot, “Cristil’s Golden Prince”, who goes by “Jak”, is the offspring of Nelson’s Dutchess Philippa “Pippa”, owned by Ricky and Tammy Nelson of Hazlehurst, and current Bully XX “Champ”. Jak takes over for Champ this Saturday prior to the Bulldog’s spring football game in Starkville.

STARKVILLE, Miss.–The Mississippi State football faithful have the rare chance to celebrate the passing of the harness as Bully XXI accepts mascot duties from his father at Super Bulldog Weekend 2015.

Around 30 minutes before the Maroon and White Spring Football Game kicks off at 11 a.m. on Saturday [April 18], Bully XX–fondly called “Champ”–will step onto the Scott Field at Davis Wade Stadium for the last time with his son, known as “Jak.”
