Cobras sweep Indians in Region 7-3A twin bill, 12-0 and 15-1

The Wesson Cobras hosted the Hazlehurst Indians and came out on top in a double header with a final scores of 12-0 and 15-1.

The Wesson Cobras dominated the Hazlehurst Indians last Wednesday night.   The Cobras racked the runs on the scoreboard to finish the game with a 12-0 win in 4 innings.    
Cobra pitcher, Mack Smith, struck out 5 and got the win.  The Indians were unable to get a batter on base with the aggressive Cobra defense.  

Jimmie McQuage, Preston Middleton, Ryan Traxler, Max Daughdrill and Tyler McLeod all hit a single at bat.  First baseman Alex Mooney recorded 5 putouts with assistance from short stop Tyler McLeod and third baseman Justin Boone.  

Indians’ pitcher, N.ick Smith, struck out 5 and walked 5.  Quadarius Copeland was the top fielder for the Indians with 2 putouts in centerfield.

The Wesson Cobras rolled over the Hazlehurst Indians in the second game of a double header.   The Cobras finished the game in 2 innings with a 15-1 win.    Cobras’ pitcher, Justin Boone, struck out 5 and walked 2. 

Seniors Mack Smith and Tyler McLeod both hit a home run which helped load up the scoreboard.  Max Daughdrill and Jeremy Smith hit a single each.  

Indian pitching walked 14 batters.  Stuard was the top fielder for the Indians with 4 putouts in leftfield.
