A Cup of Soup Ministry beginning

Several years ago the Lord told me to feed His people. Matthew 25:32 says, “I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me drink.” After meditating on that scripture I knew that I had to do God’s will. I shared it with my prayer partner Valerie Graham, who was also seeking His will. Therefore, we went into prayer to be sure what God wanted us to do. In December 2012, we began making vegetable soup and serving through the community out of coffee cups so that their soup would stay hot. Along with the soup we packed  crackers in a ziplock bag accompanied by water and/or soda.
