Conked culprits in county custody

Investigators with the Copiah County Sheriff’s Office uncovered a wealth of stolen property after a citizen called in a tip on Friday.

Investigator Jeremy Thornton said Friday that Charles Nelson, 33,  and Lindsey Hunt, 31, both of Rankin County, were taken into custody on Friday morning charged with burglary of property on Milsaps Road.  The two are charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, trespassing and possession of burglary tools, along with commercial burglary.
