Twentieth Tomato Festival this weekend in Crystal Springs
Tomato Festival kicks off with 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Fun Run
The Tomato Festival 5K Run, Walk and One Mile Fun Run will again be staged this year. The route has changed and is now partially shaded. The start and finish will remain at the Lee Avenue Community Center.
Citizens are urged to cheer on the participants and provide water sprinklers in yards adjacent to the route for the benefit of runners and walkers.
The event will be held Saturday, June 27 at 7:00 a.m. and is sponsored by C Spire.
Winners will be announced at 11:30 a.m. at Lee Avenue Community Center.
The proceeds from the event will benefit beautification efforts in Crystal Springs.
