Improving literacy focus of city schools

At the Hazlehurst Separate School District Board Meeting June 17, Superintendent John Sullivan introduced Ms. Mary Brown as ELA Coach PreK-12. Brown is to provide leadership, support, and consultation in the development and implementation of rigorous, standards-based (Common Core) literacy lessons and to monitor accountability as well.
