Cherokee Rose to celebrate DAR milestone

DAR COLLECTING DAMAGED FLAGS – How do you dispose of an old or damaged American flag? On October 11, Cherokee Rose Chapter, NSDAR, will join approximately 180,000 DAR members in nearly 3,000 chapters across the nation and in 14 foreign countries to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Since its founding in 1890, DAR, a service organization, has admitted more than 925,000 members.
