Bethel plans outdoor missions extravaganza

April 23, beginning at 6 p.m. Bethel Baptist Church will hold a outdoor missions extravaganza to support their four mission groups going out this summer. The groups are going to  Cortez, CO, New York City, Haiti, and the youth are going to Mobile, AL.

There will be a meal included, with  grilled chicken, deer taco soup, deer burger helper, red beans and rice, corn, potatoes, drinks and desserts.

There are numerous raffles and door prizes, including a silent auction. Businesses are asked to get involved by donating items for these events.

There will be a turkey calling contest with prizes from Tractor Supply. The two age groups are 11 and under and 12-16. A $5 entry fee will be collected.

There will also be a Large Buck Mount Contest. Participants are asked to bring their mounts Friday, April 22 between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. Prizes in this event include 525 ct. 22 long ammo and 325 ct. 22 long ammo. Entry fee $5.
