Bethel plans outdoor missions extravaganza

PLANNING WILDLIFE EXTRAVAGANZA – Bethel Baptist Church members are planing a Wildlife Extravaganza Saturday, April 23. Pictured left to right are Josh and Laura Amos, Med and Kim Palmer, Missy Foster, and Tyson and Ashley Windom.
There will be a meal included, with grilled chicken, deer taco soup, deer burger helper, red beans and rice, corn, potatoes, drinks and desserts.
There are numerous raffles and door prizes, including a silent auction. Businesses are asked to get involved by donating items for these events.
There will be a turkey calling contest with prizes from Tractor Supply. The two age groups are 11 and under and 12-16. A $5 entry fee will be collected.
There will also be a Large Buck Mount Contest. Participants are asked to bring their mounts Friday, April 22 between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. Prizes in this event include 525 ct. 22 long ammo and 325 ct. 22 long ammo. Entry fee $5.
