Copiah hosts 20th ‘Relay’ on April 29

Back in 1997 local volunteers organized the first ever American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Copiah County.  Thirteen teams raised around $30,000 that first year.  The Relay was held on July 27-28 in downtown Hazlehurst on the Courthouse Square and lasted a full 24 hours.  A total of 29 volunteers made it all happen, along with dozens of team members.
