New hospital from the air
University of Mississippi Medical Center’s AirCare Helicopter Transport Team provided an aerial view to Copiah County Medical Center’s CEO, Ben Lott and Community Outreach Coordinator, Lauren Rutland. A bird’s eye view was captured by Lott as the helicopter circled the perimeter of the new hospital construction site. “We are 80% complete and can not wait to move in. We have a lot of work to do but I know my team is working hard preparing for the move,” said Lott. The AirCare Team enjoyed a lovely lunch prepared by the HWMH cafeteria staff after the helicopter tour. “We look forward to coming back to see the completed hospital project,” stated, Paul Boackle, Flight Nurse.
