Another bridge fixed

The Copiah County Board of Supervisors worked with the City of Hazlehurst to replace two aging bridges over the past several weeks. Under contract with S&S Dragline Service of Brookhaven, the Monticello Street bridge (above) and one on Massengill Street were replaced fairly quickly.  Pictured on the front row from left are Supervisor Daryl McMillian, Ward 3 Alderman Shirley Sandifer, Supervisor Perry Hood, Mayor Henry Banks and Supervisor Kenny Ray Powell.  On the Back row from left are Supervisor Terry Channell, Ward 4 Alderman Jeremy McKinzie, Supervisor Jimmy Phillips and Ward 2 Alderman Ron Sims.  Aldermen are surveying their wards for more bridges and/or culverts that need to be replaced.
