Georgetown plans Dec. 10 Christmas parade

The 2016 Georgetown Christmas parade will kick off at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, with floats lining up at 1.
This year’s theme is “Candy Lane” and entrants are asked to decorate accordingly (no large Santas, please – Santa will be at the end of the parade).
The grand marshall for the parade will be Crystal Springs Tomato Queen Tori Titus.
A gathering will be held after the parade in the park where the children will be given goodie bags and prizes including bikes and gift certificates, among others.
