Hazlehurst School District looking for disabled children

The Hazlehurst City School District is participating in an ongoing statewide effort to locate, identify and evaluate children birth through 21 who are physically, mentally, communicatively and/or emotionally disabled. Mrs. Brenda Holmes is the Director of Special Programs and Ms. Adrienne Ramsey’s Child Find Coordinator for the Hazlehurst City School District. The Director of Special Programs & Child Find Coordinator work with the local Head Start, Human Services, Health and Mental Health Agencies, physicians and other individuals to locate and identify children out of school and in school who may be in need of special education services.
