Crystal Springs High School steamrolls over McLaurin

Last week was not a good week to play Crystal Springs. Their first loss of the season the week before had not only ruined their shot at an undefeated season, it left them at 0-1 in district play. It also left them angry. The Tigers weren’t just interested in winning a football game. They also wanted to send a message to the rest of the district that their first loss was merely a slip up, and send that message they did. A 47- 0 win let the rest of the district know that Crystal Springs is for real. It’s a home game for the Tigers, and Powell knows the importance of home field and great fan support. Speaking for the entire team, he said, “We ask that everyone support us.” Kickoff is scheduled for 7.
