Yellow Jackets swarm Colonels 42-7

By Joe Coates The Oak Forest Academy Yellow Jackets buzzed into Gallman last Friday night with 28 seniors on the roster to contest the Copiah Academy Colonels on the gridiron. The visitors from Amite, LA built a lead of 42-0 by halftime en route to a 42-7 win over the home team. he current district standings by power points are: ACCS (25.125), Silliman (23.875), St. Aloysius (19.25), Copiah (17.125) and Central Hinds (13.875). Copiah sits as the 13th seed in Class 5A, just outside the top 12 which qualify for post-season play. Wins over the next two opponents would help the Colonels’ playoffs chances
