By Tricia Nelson The Haunted Haul Run and Cemetery Tour was a huge success Saturday. The rain and drizzle were not a deterrent for the 131 runners and walkers who participated. The event began and ended in the Crystal Springs Cemetery. Race-goers were encouraged to wear costumes. The event was organized as a fundraiser for the Copiah Marching Band to raise funds for a trip to Disney where the band will perform and participate in a workshop. Multiple individuals, organizations, and businesses donated to offset costs. Due to the hard work and dedication of many people, the Haunted Haul was a huge success. The band wishes to thank everyone involved because without everyone’s help it would not have been possible.
