Crystal Springs Lions contribute $2500 to annual Miss. White Cane sight drive

Crystal Springs Lions Club treasurer Sherrie Sprouse said at their meeting Nov. 25 the club has made a $2,500 donation to White Cane–The Holidays . . . The Perfect Time for White Cane. Mississippi Lions Sight Foundation White Cane funds Mississippi Lions Eye Bank, help for those with hearing problems, sight screening in schools, promotes support for Diabetes Awareness Month in November, and sponsors Sea and Sun Camp for youth. The Crystal Springs Lions Club annual Christmas Dinner will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9 at the Lee Avenue Community Center. The Good News Singers of Crystal Springs United Methodist Church will entertain. Members of the arrangements committee include Lions Link and Sprouse and Lion Barney Scarbrough. Lion Link and Lion Susan Womack provided refreshments for the Nov. 25 meeting.
