MacDowell Music Club’s A Grand Night is March 27; January program was Hymn Histories

Inza Calloway announced at the Jan. 11 meeting of MacDowell Music Club that A Grand Night will be held Friday, March 27 in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Crystal Springs. She also announced the public is invited to attend a free concert presented by the Mississippi Community Symphonic Band in Jackson March 7. The next meeting of the music club will be Saturday, Feb. 8 in the home of Barbara Fisch. The program will be presented by Babs Wood and will have a Mardi Gras theme. Wood invited everyone to wear festive garb. Hostesses will be Gayle Easter (chair), Kathy Lee, Jan Cohn and Nancy Sullivan.
