Asbestos abatement program continues at C. S. Middle School

School board member Sandifer recognized HELEN SANDIFER was recognized Feb. 14 by Crystal Springs Elementary students as an outstanding school board member. Students in Kelly Delaughter’s class learned a song written by their teacher’s assistant, Monica Pickett. The children joyfully performed their song for Mrs. Sandifer. They also made a big card for her to show their appreciation. Tracy Boone, CSE Principal, and Johnny Wilson, Assistant Principal presented Mrs. Sandifer certificates of appreciation and a gift basket. Crystal Springs Elementary and our community benefit greatly from Mrs. Sandifer’s tireless service.

Evanses honored during School Board Appreciation Week

 


The Copiah County School Board in regular session March 2 continued the district’s program of asbestos abatement at the Crystal Springs Middle School by approving a contract with Pickering Firm, Inc. to complete another phase of the project. Bailey Education Group was selected to provide English Language Learning and Exceptional Education District Wide Services to the district. After approval of loans, transfers, and claims, the board adjourned until 3 p.m. April 6.
