Joe Stanley Brisendine

Funeral services for Joe Stanley Brisendine, of Winona, were held July 14, 2020, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. Jerry McNeer and Rev. Tim Buchanan officiated the services. Pallbearers were Wesley Brisendine, Hunter Brisendine, Dillian Brisendine, Reed Rushing, Tommy Bowers, Edwin Taylor, Chris Covington, and Clayton Bowers.
Mr. Brisendine died at his home on July 11. He was born in Jackson on May 30, 1960, and was 60 years old. He was a graduate of Forest Hill High School in Byram. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and tractor operator. He was a member of Duck Hill Baptist Church in Duck Hill.
Mr. Brisendine is survived by his wife, Sherry Brisendine, of Winona; two daughters, Jodi Holly (Joshua), of Madison; and Kadi Brisendine, of McCarley; parents, Joe and Carolyn Brisendine, of Terry; three brothers, Don Brisendine, of Terry; Art Brisendine, of Lyles, Tenn.; and Phillip Brisendine, of Terry; and two grandchildren, Preston Carpenter and Delta Holly.
Oliver Funeral Home of Winona handled the arrangements.
