Sybil Ward

Sybil McDonald Ward, of Crystal Springs, passed away July 23, 2024. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., Friday, July 26, at Harmony Baptist Church. The service will be at 11, Friday, at Harmony Baptist Church, with burial at Crystal Springs Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Ward was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, where she was a hostess for many years. She loved bowling and won several league championships.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, L.M. Davis and Van Ward; parents, L.L. McDonald and Dessie Stubbs McDonald; and siblings, Faye Berry, Lamar McDonald, and June Slay.

She is survived by her daughter, Florine Berry (Winton); grandchildren, Pam Thompson (Danny) and Tracy Price (Sun Cha); great-grandchildren, Lisa Viviano (Jared) and Trevor Price; great-great-grandson, Isaiah Viviano; brother, Leslie McDonald (Mary); and sisters, Louise Barnes, Carolyn White, Rachel Whittington, and Debbie Gunter (Danny).
