Clarice Davis

Clarice Sykes Davis, 82, of Crystal Springs, passed away on Nov. 28, 2025, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Dec. 1 at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs, with funeral services to follow at 2 in the Stringer Family Chapel. Interment will be at Harmony Cemetery.

Clarice was a devoted mother, sister, and friend, but her greatest joy in life was being “Granny.”

Her favorite pastimes were playing cards, quilting, fishing with her brothers, and gardening.

Clarice was preceded in death by her parents, John and Tabbie Sykes, and seven siblings.

She is survived by her children, Carol Parks (Larry), Terri Lingle (Tony), and Craig Davis (Andi); grandchildren, Jennifer Stuart (Jeb), Stephanie Miller (Jonathan), Rachel Walters (Johnny Bass), and Nicholas Craig Davis; as well as five great-grandchildren.
