Donna Perkins

Donna Theresa Dorothy Goodson Perkins, 77, passed away at her residence. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at St John Catholic Church, followed by the funeral mass at 11. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Hazlehurst.

Donna was a devoted wife to the love of her life, Ellis, for over 30 years. She spent much of her time engaged in hobbies she truly cared for. She loved to quilt and was an active member of a quilting club, where she regularly designed and stitched quilts. Gardening was another favorite; she enjoyed planting and looking after flowers and shrubs. At home, she raised two parrots, feeding and playing with them every day. She was a devoted dog mom for years, caring deeply for her own furry companions through thick and thin. Above all, she stayed close to her faith and was an active member of St. John’s Catholic Church.

Donna is survived by five grandchildren; nephews, Greg Morris and Seth Morris; and stepdaughters, Lauren Chapman, Lisa Augello (Jared), and Sara Perkins.
