Frances Shelton Guillory

Frances Shelton Guillory, 97, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Copiah Living Center in Crystal Springs. She was born on Jan. 16, 1929, in Union.

Mrs. Guillory was a retired secretary for the Mississippi State Board of Health. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Crystal Springs and taught Sunday School for many years at several churches. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Guillory; and brothers, Johnny D. Shelton and Steven Michael Shelton.

She is survived by her sons, Billy Saul (Martha) and Ron Saul (Jane); daughter, Barbara Cox (Norman); grandchildren, Nikki Santee, Naomi McCall, and Rachel Saul; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sisters, Mickey Sullivan and Patricia McInnis.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until 11 a.m.  on Saturday, March 14, at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Stringer Family Chapel, with interment in Old Crystal Springs Cemetery.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. James Ervin, Copiah Living Center, and Pax Hospice for the care they have given.
