Howard R. Hailey

Howard R. Hailey, 88, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at his home. 
Services were held Friday from Stringer Family Chapel with interment in New Providence Cemetery.
Mr. Hailey was a native and lifelong resident of Copiah County except for the 25 years served in the U.S. Air Force.  He was a cattleman. He was a member of New Providence Baptist Church, Wesson American Legion, and the John Galsbreath Masonic Lodge.  He was an avid hunter.
Mr. Hailey was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth King Hailey, son, William H. Hailey, two sisters and one brother.
Survivors include: brother, Scott F. Hailey of Wesson; two nephews, three nieces and a special cousin and caregiver.
