Brown Wilson Jordan

Brown Wilson Jordan, 78, of White Oak, TX, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008.

Graveside services were held Friday, Feb. 8 at Rosewood Park with the Rev. John Saint officiating.

He was born Oct. 15, 1929, in Hazlehurst to Sadie and Silas Wilson Jordan. He served in the U.S. Navy and was employed by Sun Oil Company from 1952 until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of White Oak United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Jean Jordan; brothers,  Maurice, Thomas and Elmo Jordan; sisters, Doris Ainsworth and Nelva Montgomery.

Survivors include: daughter, Konyia Jordan Williamson and husband, Gary, of Houston; sons, Bryan Jordan of White Oak, Jay Jordan and wife, Shawntee of Longview; brother, Charles and Faye Jordan of Hazlehurst; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
