Willie Evie Daniels

Willie Evie Daniels, 54, of Utica, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital.

Services were held Saturday, March 22, from St. John M. B. Church, Utica, with Rev. Clifton Jenkins officiating. Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Daniels was born Sept. 25, 1953, to Dan Davis and Rosie Jane McGowan Davis. She was baptized at St. John M. B. Church at an early age.

Survivors include: husband, John Henry Davis; daughters, Stephanie (Richard) Dixon of Utica, Shakita Davis of Brandon; sons, Nicholas Davis of Clinton and Christopher Davis of Utica; brothers, Andrew Davis (Elzetta), Jimmie Davis (Helen) and Harold Davis, all of Jackson; sisters, Clementine Calendar (Joe) of Jackson, Irene Green of Crystal Springs, Ruth Finley (Rubin) of Gulfport, and Gloria Parish (Marcelle) of Milwaukee, WI; four grandchildren; god child, Montreal Turner; and special sister, Shirley Davis of Utica.
