Willie Mae Edwards

Willie Mae Edwards, 89, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008.

Services were held Saturday, June 28, from the Greater Damascue Church of Christ Holiness USA with Elder John Rhymes officiating. Interment was in the Hunter Cemetery in Hazlehurst with Westhaven Funeral Home in charge.

She was born July 27, 1918, to  John and Victoria Braxton Jackson. She married Louis Williams, then later on married Mack Edwards Jr. Both preceded her in death.

Survivors include: daughters, Ilean Crisler (Herron), Elizabeth Williams, Jessie Jordan, Celia Ellis, Martha Williams all of Hazlehurst and Susie Jefferson Palmer (Richard) of Jackson; son, Randy Watson of Hazlehurst; step-son, L.V. Williams (Clara) of Greensburg, LA; step-daughter, Carrie Lee Edwards of Port Gibson; brother; S.T. Jackson of Pontiac, MI; sister, S.K. Rhymes of Hazlehurst; 46 grandchildren; 92 great-grandchildren; 64 great-great grandchildren; three great-great-great grandchildren.
