Annie Lizette Ray Warren

Annie Lizette Ray Warren, 79, of Hazlehurst,  died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008,  at the University Medical Center in Jackson.

Services were Sunday, Oct. 26, from Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko with interment at Rural Hill cemetery in the Lobutcha community of Winston County.

Born in Winston County to Campbell L. and Myrtle Permenter Ray, she was the youngest of ten children. She attended Lobutcha school and graduated Mississippi Delta Junior College practical nurse program in 1973. She attended First Pentecostal Church of Georgetown and was a retired nurse. She was preceded in death by brothers, Lane, Niles, Freamon, and Dewitt Ray; and sisters, Addie Pearl Warren McCloud, Mamie Ruth Ray and Ruby Lee Ray.

Survivors include: her husband of 62 years, Leonard E. Warren; son, Lynn Warren of Drew; daughter, Kaye Warren of Hazlehurst; brothers, Kermett (Cherry) Ray of Crystal Springs and Arnold (Ruthie) Ray of Pueblo West, Colorado.
