Homer L. Davis

Homer L. Davis, 91, of Wesson, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008 at Bedford Care Center in Mendenhall. 

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Friday at Unity Baptist Church.  Services will be 11am Saturday at Unity Baptist Church with burial in Palestine Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife, Linnie Mae Kennedy Davis and a son, William Earl Davis.

Survivors include: daughters, Patricia Ann Carman of Florence and Linda Jean Buckley and husband Billy Joe of Harrisville; daughter-in-law, Selma Davis; 10 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
