Dorothy Jean Moore

Dorothy Jean Moore, 64, of Crystal Springs, died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Madison Health Care Center in Canton. 

 Visitation will be 12pm-2pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs.  Graveside services will be 2pm Tuesday at Poplar Springs Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Moore was a native of Crystal Springs.  She attended Crystal Springs High School.  She formerly lived at Terry and later lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for several years where she was an Executive Secretary for J. J. McMullan Company.  Later she moved back to Crystal Springs where she was a member of First Baptist Church and The Eastern Star.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, and bird watching.  She always had a smile for everyone.
 
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Jackson.
 
She is survived by daughters, Tina Moore McCraney and husband Jaffa of Madison and Christy Moore Luna and husband Stanley of Pearl; brother, Wayne Sumrall and wife Shirley of Crystal Springs.
