Mary Lee Jones

Mary Lee Jones, 78,  died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008.

Services were held Saturday, Dec. 20, from Egypt Hill M.B. Church in Crystal Springs with Rev. Victor Dixon officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery with Westhaven Funeral Home in charge.

She was born Sept. 28, 1930, in Copiah County to  Chessie and Carrie Hicks. In 1946, she married Jimmy Jones and had five children. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter Mary Ruth Jones and brothers, C.H. Hicks and R.C. Hicks.

Survivors include: sons, Augustus Jones (Carolyn), Garcelle Jones (Bobbie), both of Crystal Springs; daughters, Gwendolyn Bell (Allen) of Crystal Springs and Rosie Wilkinson of Jackson; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
