Kevin Joseph Verdecchia

Kevin Joseph Verdecchia, 39, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009.

Services will be 10am Friday, July 31, 2009 at Harmony Baptist Church with inerment in Harmony Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mr. Verdecchia was born August 8, 1969 in Providence, Rhode Island to Ann Verdecchia.

Mr. Verdecchia was a Deacon, Discipleship Training Director, and RA Leader at Harmony Baptist Church.

Mr. Verdecchia was preceded in death by his mother, and the uncle who raised him, Thomas R. Young of Crystal Springs.

Survivors include: his wife, Stacey Taylor Verdecchia; son, Ryan Joseph Verdecchia; daughter, Anna Paige Verdecchia; all of Hazlehurst; brother, Gary Verdecchia and wife Elizabeth of Rhode Island; an aunt who helped raise him, Elizabeth Young of Crystal Springs; the in-laws who loved him, Eddie and Peggy Taylor, Timothy, Tess, and Allie Taylor all of Hazlehurst.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Copiah Bank.
