Mildred Louise Middleton Rhodes, 83, of Crystal Springs, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at St. Dominic Hospital. 

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Friday, March 12,  and 9:30am-10:30am Saturday, March 13,  at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst.  Graveside services will be 11am Saturday, March 13,  at Bethel Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is handling arrangments.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Rhodes; her parents, Robert and Hattie Montgomery Middleton, son, James Rhodes, daughter, Elaine Rhodes Morrison, and two brothers, Robert Middleton and Edwin Middleton.
 
Survivors include: sons, Carroll Rhodes of Quitman, Wayne Rhodes of Terry, Jerry Rhodes of Hazlehurst, and Paul Rhodes of Crystal Springs; brothers, Joe Middleton of Hazlehurst, and Carl Middleton and Dean Middleton both of Baton Rouge; sisters, Dorothy Thornton of Crystal Springs and Sue McIntyre of Vicksburg; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and a whole host of exteded family that called her “Granny” or “Weezy.”
