John Freeman Sr.

John E. Freeman, Sr., 81, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at St. Dominic’s.

Visitation is 5-9 today and 9-11 Friday, March 19, 2010, at Lakewood Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 11 am Friday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife, Nellie; son, John E. Freeman, Jr.; daughters, Janet McPherson and Lanelle Loper; sisters, Helen Chisholm, Rosa Sholter, and Georgia Boyd; and five grandchildren, Gene Floyd, Vicki Brown, Melissa Bynum, Maury McPherson, Jr. and Dwight McPherson.

Memorials may be made to the Shiner’s Children Hospital.
