Doris Hood

Doris Davis Hood, 90, of Slidell, LA, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 in Louisiana. 

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Sunday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst and 10am-11am Monday at Pine Bluff Baptist Church.  Services will be 11am Monday, March 29, from Pine Bluff Baptist Church with burial in Pine Bluff Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Hood was a native of Dentville.  She had lived most of her life in Chalmette Parrish, LA.  She was a member of the Eastern Star Racheal Jackson Chapter #241.
 
Survivors include: sons, Thomas Hood of Terry and James Hood of Hattiesburg; daughters, Janett Hood of Slidell, LA, and Mary Johnson of Perkinston;  12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
